GP Joule EPC Ireland Ltd is a newly established and growing team focused on the engineering, procurement, and construction of utility-scale solar PV projects and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). Based in Leixlip, our Irish operations are supported by the wider GP Joule Group in Germany, combining local agility with international expertise.

Tender & Procurement Coordinator

The Role

We are seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Tender & Procurement Coordinator to support our Irish operations in preparing bids and managing procurement activities. This role will be central to coordinating tender submissions, sourcing local subcontractors and suppliers, and ensuring contracts are aligned with client requirements and internal standards. The successful candidate will work closely with both the Irish and German teams to ensure seamless integration of procurement and commercial processes.

In addition, the role will involve assisting the team in collating tender responses, reviewing all documentation, advising senior management and producing procurement documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and lead the preparation and coordination of bid / qualification submissions
  • Identify and establish agreements with local subcontractors – civil and electrical
  • Assist in evaluating proposals and preparing procurement documentation,
  • Ensure contracts and commercial terms are back-to-back with client agreements
  • Support contracts managers in preparation /determination of variations and with procurement-related inputs and reporting.
  • Maintain procurement records and support compliance with internal policies
  • Contribute to the development of procurement workflows and documentation standards
  • Identify, monitor and develop tender opportunities relevant to the business

Requirements

  • Circa two years of experience in tendering and procurement ideally within civil  or electrical construction, engineering, or renewable energy sectors.
  • Qualification in construction, quantity surveying, engineering, or supply chain management is desirable
  • Familiarity with public sector tendering procedures, framework tenders, compiling and responding to RFTs, bid preparation, and contract management is desirable.
  • Good data management and reporting skills, combined with a solid commercial understanding, are desirable attributes.
  • Knowledge and experience with Typical Construction Contracts i.e. FIDIC, NEC is desirable
  • Proficiency in common MS Office applications, tender portals, and procurement platforms is necessary.
  • Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented working style enabling efficient and flexible organization of daily tasks.
